HEERO handover - E-Works and GaLaBau Pütz interview

“The HEERO finally offers us the solution we need — a double cabin with a flatbed structure for our versatile use in gardening and landscaping.”

(René Pütz from Pütz GalaBau Gbr) ‍

The three most important findings from the interview in BAMAKA AG magazine: ‍

Why did you decide to add an E-Works HEERO to your fleet?

René Pütz chose HEERO because conventional manufacturers of electric commercial vehicles did not offer reliable and suitable solutions. In particular, the lack of 3.5 t trailer hitch and the lack of availability of double cabins with flatbed structures were decisive factors for using HEERO in gardening and landscaping.

Which features of HEERO are particularly important to you?

It highlights the optimal balance of battery size, onboard charger (22 kW) and fast charger for emergencies in HEERO. The ability to get the vehicle back up and running again quickly and the range of up to 400 km are decisive for him.

What hurdles did you have to overcome with regard to your charging infrastructure?

Pütz explains that the charging infrastructure for HEERO presents no difficulties in everyday working life, as the vehicle can easily get to the construction site and return. The main charge takes place during operation, although future charge management during operation is important in order to supply the vehicles with energy, depending on their individual operating range.
